Farm for Thought: A student-run urban farm on the UNBC Prince George Campus

Proudly owned + operated by PGPIRG, Farm for Thought produces pesticide-free food for our community and creates hands-on learning opportunities for students.

In the summer (harvest) months, the Farm is taken care of by Farm Coordinators. All produce is sold at the Prince George Farmers' Market, to local restaurants, and through our Good Food Box program.

Throughout the year, PGPIRG hosts agriculture-related workshops to facilitate knowledge-sharing amongst local growers. We also develop age-appropriate activities aimed at teaching school-age childen & youth about food systems and food production.

As a non-profit organization, PGPIRG is committed to directing all produce revenue towards building the Farm!

Are you a local restaurant that would like to buy our produce? Contact our Executive Director at pgpirg@unbc.ca to get started!
