The Local Foods Program: growing a sustainable local food system
The Good Food Box
The Good Food Box is the heart of PGPIRG's Local Foods Program, which aims to increase access to healthy, local, and ethically-produced food for the UNBC community, and to raise awareness of issues surrounding global & local food systems.
This program runs every Fall & Winter Semester out of the UNBC Prince George Campus. Boxes come in two sizes (Small and Large) with options to add locally-sourced meat, eggs, and coffee!
Email Hannah at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Note: if you cannot pick up your box by 3 p.m. on the pick-up day, please get in touch immediately to make alternate arrangements. All purchases are final.
North Roast Coffee
Organic, fair trade, locally-roasted coffee! North Roast treats coffee farmers fairly, takes care of the land, and grows the local economy through its small-scale roasting operation.
