The Good Store: making a low-waste lifestyle accessible to all
In February 2019, PGPIRG opened the first time as a low-waste grocery store located on the UNBC Prince George campus at PGPIRG office Room 6-342, NUSC Building.

We are a low-waste, package-free convenience shop. We use reusable glass jars that you can borrow or bring your own ones.

Our Goals are to:
1. Reduce packaging waste
2. Increase access to healthy food options at UNBC
3. Sustain student-friendly prices
4. Support Local Businesses & Entrepreneurs.

Good Store – Open Hours

The Good Store at PGPIRG offers affordable, sustainable products for students and the community. From bulk foods to eco-friendly goods, we aim to make ethical shopping accessible on campus.

Regular Hours:

Monday to Thursday
Daytime: Check current volunteer hours
Evening: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
​
Every Other Friday (Starting January 2, 2026)
10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
